Bassano del Grappa
A nice little day trip to the medieval town of Bassano del Grappa, located just 2 hours by car from Udine.
For four centuries Venice maintained peace and prosperity on the region. The area is also home to many of Andrea Palladio’s famous villas. He was the one that designed the “Ponte degli Alpini”.The town also underwent the invasion of the Germans during WWII.
